Along with various floor plan layouts, Authentic Interiors developed three design board concepts featuring furniture, fabrics, lighting, paint colors and high-end, hand-knotted rugs. The client studied the samples and colors for several days and was drawn to the blue and walnut scheme.

The simplest update was paint – the Sherwin Williams Designer Collection color Rain Cloud offered just enough dark tone and moodiness. We color-drenched the walls, built-ins with new cabinet doors and all the detailed trim work throughout. Per the plan, we replaced a dark and heavy ceiling fan with a compact Dyson Hot+Cool™ and motorized designer solar shades that offer energy efficiency while preserving the beautiful outdoor view.

Coupled with new modern lighting, shelves for displaying a pottery collection and a quartz-topped adjustable standing desk for optimal health and convenience, the results are simply stunning, creating a cozy, personalized environment for this busy exec.
